What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide oversight and direction for an IT environment supporting over 20,000 end-users across 400+ sites
- Manage and coordinate multiple simultaneous projects throughout all phases of the project life cycle
- Consult with customer and Contractor personnel to ensure compliance with program and project schedules and costs
- Establish and maintain technical and financial reports to communicate project progress to leadership
- Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings on overall program performance
What is Required (Qualifications)
- At least 15 years of experience in an IT or technology-related field, with 5 years in large Government or commercial contracts
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Program Manager overseeing multiple projects in a similar organization
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
- Proven ability to lead large teams and manage contract support personnel with diverse IT skill sets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- MBA or Master’s Degree in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification
- Experience with Agile methodologies in a federal Government environment
- Familiarity with IT O&M operations support for large organizations
- Previous experience in maintaining senior-level client interfaces across multiple organizations
