Description
PM oversees day-to-day operations for their assigned captive(s). They can handle most of the technical aspects of assigned captive(s).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in a related discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the insurance industry or experience relevant to the role
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
- Team-based skills
- Collaboration – communicating effectively with Captive Executive & Business Development Executive team to assure alignment on new business and renewal activities
- Strong technical aptitude including a high proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Understand company required information systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess their understanding of technical topics and seek appropriate support for deeper understanding
- Visible support and commitment to a positive business culture
- Comfortable with presenting technical information in one-on-one conversations as well as larger group settings

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The PM may execute some or all the duties outlined in the APM role. In addition, responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate an understanding of the captive program formula and risk sharing allocation
- Oversee and/or prepare and submit documentation to underwrite renewal business, new business, board book and captive reviews
- Accountable to ensure all documentation for captive program is up to date and aligned with Board of Directors directives (proposals, slide shows, renewal books, etc.)
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the assigned captive(s) at the Captive Executives’ direction including oversight of work prepared by the Associate PM
- Address any past due premium collections and any unreconciled matters from the premium reconciliation with captive domicile manager
- Assist in the development of other program management team members by sharing captive and technical knowledge
- Assist with special projects
- Comfortable engaging one-on-one with members and brokers to discuss captive program details
- Ability to present captive program details in a group setting
TRAVEL: Domestic and International travel may be required. This includes compliance with all U.S., local country, and transportation carrier travel requirements.
