Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary project team, ensure collaboration and focus on project targets.
• Create, communicate and update project planning (milestones, deliverables, cost). Track and communicate status of projects (progress, risks, issues, impacts, profitability).
• Start, support and follow up escalations; drive solutions to ensure success of the program.
• Ensure APQP and customer-specific processes within programs; be key customer contact.
• Manage Engineering Changes and VAVEs in collaboration with the Launch Manager.
• Lead a Safety-first approach maintaining a zero accident culture; monitor safety across the business.
• Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and/or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as required.

We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a Program Manager within our Automotiveteam to help support our Automotivebusiness. That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Motors, Actuators and Massage Systems. The Program Manager/Automotive Division leads our cross-functional and international project teams to ensure the project targets for the assigned projects. Furthermore, the PM manages synergies and dependencies of projects and changes that belong to the same program.

What will you be doing as a Program Manager:

• 1. Lead the interdisciplinary project team, ensure good collaboration and the focus on the project targets
• 2. Create, communicate and update project planning (milestones, deliverables, cost). Track and communicate status of projects (progress, risks, issues, impacts, profitability)
• 3. Start, support and follow up escalations in case that project targets get in danger. Drive solutions and decisions to ensure success of the program.
• 5. Ensure that we follow the APQP and customer specific processes whithin our programs. Be key contact for our customer during the Program.
• 6. Manage Engineering Changes and VAVEs in collaboration with the Launch Manager.
• 7. Leading a Safety-first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business.
• 8. Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business

What you need to be successful:

Educational requirements, Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of job experience in an industrial environment
• 3-5 years of project experience
