Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Program Manager for the Commercial Aftermarket Group in Buffalo, NY. You will manage and coordinate complex programs in the US, report to the Program Director, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to meet or exceed program expectations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.
• Achieve program/project objectives through management of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support process improvements and standard work implementation within Program Management.
• Sustain and expand the organization’s book of business through proposal teams and campaigns.
• Develop program plans with detailed schedules and monitor cost, schedule, and task completion.
• Communicate effectively with customers and Moog stakeholders to resolve issues and align on plans.

Our Commercial Aftermarket Group is looking for a Program Manager to manage and coordinate complex programs in the US. You will report to the Program Director. We’re seeking a motivated leader to collaborate externally with our customers and internally with our teams and management to meet or exceed program expectations.

To be considered for theProgram Manager, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business
• Minimum five (5) years of Program Management or similar experience is required, preferably in aerospace and engineering.
• Proven Leadership Experience,excellent listening and persuasive skills
• Demonstrated team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a strong sense of customer orientation.
• Requires access to US Export Controlled information.
• Knowledge of project management tools including Earned Value Management
• Experience managing multiple programs.
• Experience in reporting and managing production program line of balance to customer.
• Experience working with operations, supply chain and engineering.
• Experience leading proposal development and negotiating contracts.
• Experience managing a development program schedule, cost and risk.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to present program information to customers and other groups of people; ability to navigate high pressure situations.
• Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience working with Aftermarket is desired.

As a Program Manager, you will

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements through coordination and management of all program activities.
• Achieve program/project objectives through effective application of program management principles within the confines of scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support process improvements and standard work implementation within Program Management.
• Sustain and expand the organizations book of business through the leadership and/or support of proposal teams and business capture campaigns.
• Ensure proper coordination between all program elements by developing program plans with detailed schedules and to ensure compliance by monitoring the status of cost, schedule, and task completion.
• Achieve timely resolution of outstanding issues through the conductance of effective day-to-day communications with the customer, Moog management, and Moog functional organizations.
• Optimize the program likelihood of success through collaboration with OE Program Managers and other stakeholders across the organization.

Salary Range Transparency

Buffalo, NY $100,000.00–$120,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees.
