Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and min/max thresholds for assigned programs.
• Provide weekly reports on excess inventory and KPIs.
• Assist in bid-list development and translate into stocking/purchasing proposals.
• Purchase parts for stock and back-to-back business and consolidate procurement activities.
• Develop and execute inventory demand-planning and purchasing strategy.

Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for managing inventory levels and requirements for customer contracts. They will work in close cooperation with colleagues, incl Sales, Product Management, Warehouse, and vendors via phone, e-mail or portals. The Program Manager assists in proper part-data management for Assortment AA parts to facilitate EDI and efficient workflows.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Objectives

• Maintain inventory levels through min/max levels, stock out policy and other methods specific to certain programs and/or customer projects with Long Term Agreements
• Provide weekly reports for different programs on excess inventory, run and analyze part number planning worksheets and KPIs
• Work with senior management on bid-list for new programs and/or to add scope in existing programs and translate into stocking and purchase proposals
• Purchase parts for stock and back to back business and consolidate all purchasing activities to improve efficienies
• Develop and execute inventory demand-planning & purchasing strategy

Preferred Training/Certification

APICS certification and/or SCM training courses

Qualities you possess and the skills and background you'll bring

• Advanced proficiency and workplace experience in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
• Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university
• 2+ years of industry experience, purchasing experience
