Job description

Who We Are

Liqid is doing for AI infrastructure what VMware did for x86 servers, bringing the agility of the cloud to the on-prem datacenter to dynamically allocate and share GPUs, memory, and other resources. This functionality is critical in running AI and advanced-data workloads in production (a.k.a. Inference). Liqid Matrix software enables global organizations to accelerate the adoption of AI, HPC and VDI by unlocking the bottleneck of GPU utilization and availability through dynamic pooling and sharing of AI resources for higher performance with less total cost, less power, and less hardware.

About the Role

Liqid is seeking a Program Management Technical Specialist with strong technical aptitude across both electronic hardware and software development workflows. In this role, you will support project activities throughout the product lifecycle-helping engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and external partners stay aligned on requirements, schedules, and deliverables. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, excels at organization and communication, and wants to grow deeper into hardware and software project coordination.

  • Project Coordination - Support planning, scheduling, and tracking for hardware, with some firmware, and software development activities.
  • Lifecycle Support - Assist with documentation, requirements updates, and milestone tracking from concept through production and release.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment - Coordinate communication between hardware engineering, software engineering, QA, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • CM & ODM Support - Help maintain documentation flow, track build schedules, and support communication with contract manufacturers and ODM partners.
  • Risk & Issue Tracking - Monitor risks, dependencies, and blockers; elevate issues to program leadership as needed.
  • Budget & Resource Tracking - Assist with budget monitoring, cost tracking, and vendor documentation.
  • Quality Coordination - Support quality processes by tracking test results, validation activities, and release readiness.
  • Reporting & Documentation - Prepare status updates, dashboards, and project documentation for internal stakeholders.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Technical Management, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination or project support within hardware, firmware, or software development environments
  • Familiarity with electronic hardware development processes such as design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing
  • Understanding of software development workflows, including Agile, sprint planning, and release coordination
  • Experience supporting teams that work with contract manufacturers or OEMs
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Arena, MS Project, and Microsoft 365
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating HW projects with exposure to embedded software, firmware, and/or other software projects
  • Familiarity with Stage/Phase Gate development processes
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies and sprint ceremonies
  • Interest in growing into full program management responsibilities
  • Why This Role Matters
  • You’ll play a critical role in keeping complex hardware and software projects moving smoothly. Your coordination ensures teams stay aligned, risks are surfaced early, and products progress through development with clarity and moment
  • Comfortable and proficient using AI tools (e.g., LLM assistants, coding copilots, research/analysis tools) as part of your daily workflow.
  • Preferred experience building or customizing AI-driven workflows, prompts, or automations that measurably improve your output, speed, or quality.
Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation: $92,000-$113,000

  • Generous Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/Disability benefits package
  • 401K
