Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an incumbent and external qualified Program Manager to support North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC) – Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC‑ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III (NISSC III).
Please note that this is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated decision expected by summer 2026.
The qualified candidate will oversee operations, maintenance, and sustainment of critical national mission systems that deliver resilient strategic threat warning and space capabilities. This program will provide an opportunity to exploit the capabilities inherent in our diverse national systems to better meet the needs of the national command authority and warfighters to detect, track, and respond to strategic threats through 2030 and beyond.
- Lead execution of a large‑scale, mission‑critical program supporting NORAD strategic warning and space operations across multiple geographically distributed sites.
- Maintain full accountability for program performance across cost, schedule, and technical execution.
- Serve as the primary interface to Government leadership, Contracting Officer, and senior mission stakeholders.
- Provide strategic direction across operations, maintenance, sustainment (OM&S), engineering, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps functions.
- Ensure 24/7 mission readiness and operational uptime for strategic warning and space systems.
- Lead program financial management including forecasting, EACs, staffing strategy, and cost control.
- Oversee subcontractor execution and manage complex teaming environments.
- Drive performance against SLAs, KPIs, and mission readiness metrics.
- Lead contract transition, program stand‑up, and long‑term execution strategy.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks across technical, operational, and financial domains.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, RMF, quality control, and classified systems requirements.
- Lead executive‑level briefings, program management reviews (PMRs), and customer engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain SCI access.
- 16+ years of relevant experience.
- 10+ years of experience leading large DoD programs as a Program Manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience managing operations, maintenance, and sustainment (OM&S) programs.
- Experience supporting space, missile warning, C2, ISR, or similarly complex mission systems.
- Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong experience with program finances (forecasting, budgeting, cost control, EVM).
- Experience managing subcontractors and multi‑vendor program environments.
- Strong familiarity with classified systems, secure communications, and mission IT infrastructure.
- Experience working directly with senior DoD customers (NORAD, USNORTHCOM, USSPACECOM).
- Must be able to work in office or at a Customer location 4 days per week.
- Up to 20‑25% travel may be required for this position.
Desired Qualifications
- PMP, DAWIA, or equivalent Program Management certification.
- Prior experience supporting NISSC I/II, ITW/AA, or Cheyenne Mountain Complex programs.
- Experience with space domain awareness or missile warning systems.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and modern mission system integration.
- Experience operating within TS/SCI mission environments.
- Background in RMF, NIST, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
