Overview

Program Lead / Physical Therapist (PT) at Powerback. Location: Nottingham, MD area. Noting a $5,000 bonus for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the efficient oversight of rehabilitation services in assigned accounts, ensuring coordination with leadership and maintenance of high standards of care.
  • Assist therapy staff in delivering rehab services adhering to care plans, scheduling, and timely documentation.
  • Provide direct patient care and routine customer relations touch points to ensure satisfaction and referral flow.
  • Refer patients to other disciplines as needed to address comprehensive care needs.
  • Support delivery of high-quality rehab services through resource utilization, clinical program promotion, and staff development in collaboration with licensed therapists, Clinical Operations Area Director, and Clinical Director.
  • Coordinate Powerback Rehabilitation personnel and consultants within facilities or home care contracts.
  • Monitor evidence-based care, adherence to care delivery standards, and act in compliance with practice acts.
  • Ensure clinical management of the rehab department (case management, quality improvement, care planning, clinical utilization, patient identification) is overseen by a licensed therapist.
  • Help identify and remove barriers to treatment and request clinical education as needed to meet patient needs.
  • Coordinate daily staffing and utilization with input from treating therapists and Clinical Director.
  • Monitor financial controls of revenue and expenses in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Area Director; assist in meeting annual budget goals.
  • Assist with clinical orientation and maintain a quality orientation process for new rehab staff.
  • Support the delivery of rehab services through appropriate resource utilization, clinical program promotion, and staff development in collaboration with licensed therapists, Clinical Operations Area Director, and Clinical Director.
  • Promote Powerback Rehabilitation products and services where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with facility management teams and staff as a representative of Powerback Rehabilitation; assist with securing new relationships and contracts.
  • Maintain relationships with clinical teams and ensure ongoing communication with management regarding program status.

Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice or proof of license eligibility.
  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s degree in a PT-related field with a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy; or Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.
  • If the PT degree was earned outside the U.S., it must be evaluated as equivalent to a U.S. PT degree.
  • Three years of direct patient care experience and one year of management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Medicare and third-party billing.

Posted Salary Range: USD $66.00 /Hr; Bonus: USD $5,000.00
