Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Execution & Operations Manager 3 for the Test/Production Operations (TPO) BU in Roy, UT. You will drive cross‑functional collaboration, oversee planning, and execute strategic initiatives across multiple teams in a dynamic environment.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, strong program management, and a proven track record in process improvements with budget responsibilities. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience or a Masters with 6 years.
  • 5 years' experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Experience with process improvement and driving cadence of the team.
  • Experience in capture management and execution for Technology Maturation Risk Reduction.
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel 10% of time.

The Sentinel program is seeking a Program Execution & Operations Manager 3 for the newly formed Test / Production Operations (TPO) Business Unit (BU) with the background, vision, and people skills to execute BU objectives with a multifaceted team of participants. As this work spans across a diverse set of stakeholders, this leader will be expected to collaborate effectively and partner across organizations to successfully implement TPO vision. This role requires a proactive individual willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A good team focus and willingness to multi-task is important in this role. This position will be located in Roy, UT.

What you will get to do: Provides horizontal integration across multiple cross-functional stakeholders restructure teams Acts with a sense of urgency and accountability; takes ownership of tasks and strategic direction Builds relationships, effectively listens, communicates to influence, and ensures accountability across a network of stakeholders Provides general management of TPO budget / forecast across multiple teams and funding sources Navigates ambiguity and develops a systemic approach and strategy to address and solve problems Prepares charts, briefings and metrics as needed to provide the Restructure Director with visualization material necessary to understand the health and status of tasking Coordinates SharePoint database system changes with admins and developer.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80.

The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience or a Masters and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
  • 5 year's experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Experience with process improvement and drive cadence of the team’s execution
  • Experience in proposal capture management and execution, specifically related to Technology Maturation Risk Reduction activities.
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel 10% of time
Nice to have
  • Previous technical experience with concentration in systems engineering, technical project management, or operations of systems and technologies
  • Current and active Secret security clearance or higher
  • Detailed and team oriented with demonstrated leadership and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to help solve problems or conflicts within teams
  • Master's in Business or technical field
  • Leading through a program or project start-up and effectively rolling out and managing change
  • Depth and breadth of experience with defense products and services, including understanding of DoD weapons programs.
  • Collaborating across organizations to bring forward a consolidated objective and measure performance

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
