AWS Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO) in Northern Virginia seeks a seasoned Program Execution Manager to lead mission-critical cloud programs for the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

The ideal candidate has a strong cloud background, national security experience, and a proven ability to translate complex technical challenges into actionable plans. US Citizenship and TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various audiences.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

• Manage subcontractor operations across a large, complex program — ensuring seamless integration with prime contract requirements, program milestones, and delivery timelines
• Oversee subcontractor performance, deliverable compliance, and cost/schedule tracking, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
• Develop and maintain program frameworks and documentation — including subcontractor management plans, escalation paths, and accountability structures
• Coordinate across internal teams and subcontractor leadership to maintain strategic alignment and drive execution throughout the program lifecycle
• Lead program reviews and stakeholder engagements to ensure transparency, clear action items, and continuous improvement across all parties
• Evaluate and improve processes, workflows, and delivery mechanisms — embedding lessons learned and exploring AI/automation to streamline operations

The AWS Global Government Delivery Organization (GGDO) is seeking a driven and experienced Program Execution Manager to help lead mission-critical cloud programs in support of the U.S. Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in cloud computing, national security mission requirements, and large-scale program management — and knows how to translate complex technical and operational challenges into clear, actionable results. You are equally at home collaborating with engineers as you are briefing senior government executives.

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
