Job summary

Family Connections seeks a Program Evaluator to collect, analyze, and report data assessing the effectiveness of program services. You will work with data across EHR, Salesforce, and survey tools, supporting qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform ongoing quality improvements.

You will develop outcome tracking systems, generate clear reports for staff and funders, and contribute to the organization’s commitment to antiracist, culturally inclusive practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in Public Health, Program Evaluation, Statistics, Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related discipline.
  • Program evaluation experience required.
  • Experience evaluating Evidence Based Practices is required.
  • Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Proficiency with software including EHRs, spreadsheets, databases, online surveys, and analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and report on data to evaluate program services under the guidance of the Director of Quality.
  • Input, update and manage data across platforms including EHR, Salesforce, Alchemer, and funder requirements.
  • Support qualitative and quantitative analysis of consumer care and quality measures.
  • Analyze and measure program outcomes; contribute to sustainability planning.
  • Advise on rapid cycle PDSA for continuous quality improvement.
  • Monitor fidelity of Evidence-Based Practices.
  • Create evaluation and outcome reports; share with staff, partners, and funders.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop new outcome tracking systems.
  • Review indicators annually and adjust as needed.
  • Break out data by key program features for reporting.
  • Develop graphs, infographics, and data visualizations for reports.
  • Prepare presentations and reports based on findings.
  • Serve on the Quality Improvement Committee.

POSITION TITLE: Program Evaluator

REPORTS TO: Director of Quality

BROAD FUNCTION: Collects, analyzes, and reports on data to evaluate effectiveness of program services.

IV. POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Work closely with program staff and under the direction of the Director of Quality to develop, maintain and report on relevant process and outcome data in a timely manner.
  2. Collect, input, update, and manage data across various platforms, including but not limited to agency’s Electronic Health Record, Salesforce, Alchemer and those required by funders/regulators, ensuring data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements.
  3. Support both qualitative and quantitative data analysis of consumer care/quality measures in accordance with acceptable statistical and quality improvement processes/systems.
  4. Analyze, evaluate and measure program outcomes and provide input for sustainability and evaluation planning.
  5. Support and make recommendations for use of rapid cycle PDSA to manage continuous quality improvement.
  6. Support fidelity monitoring of Evidence-Based Practices.
  7. Build and manage evaluation and outcome reports in appropriate software, ensure they are accurate and share them with various internal and external stakeholders including staff, partner agencies and funders.
  8. Work with Director of Quality to develop new outcome tracking systems.
  9. Review indicators on an annual basis to ensure they are appropriate for the goals of the program.
  10. Break out evaluation and outcome data by identified key features as indicated by program.
  11. Develop graphs, infographics, and other types of data visualizations for reports and presentations so that reports are clear and easy to understand.
  12. Work with IT team to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) or other assessment software/databases, as applicable.
  13. Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
  14. Serve on the Quality Improvement Committee.
V. SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree required, master's degree preferred in Public Health, Program Evaluation, Statistics, Social Work, Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or related discipline.
  • Experience:
    1. Program evaluation experience required.
    2. Experience evaluating Evidence Based Practices is required.
    3. Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
    4. Proficiency with applicable software including but not limited to electronic health records, spreadsheets, database management, online survey tools, qualitative and quantitative analysis software.
    5. Preferred experience working in public health, youth mental health, and/or substance use disorders.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    2. Excellent planning and organizing skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and adaptability.
    3. Understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods is required.
    4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    5. Excellent data collection, analysis, and reporting ability required.
    6. Able to develop evaluation plans.
    7. Ability to set and meet deadlines and work in high-pressure situations.
    8. Able and interested in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    9. Independent judgement and self-direction to complete assigned tasks and identify tools and approaches for analysis.
    10. An understanding of professional ethics and issues of confidentiality. The ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team.
    11. Willingness to learn and use new technologies and train others.
  • Work Environment/Physical Demands: The individual must possess the ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting up to or in excess of 50 pounds.

Salary : $52,000 - 57,000

Vacation & Benefits:
  • Vacation: As a full-time employee working generally 35 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the Family Connections group benefit plans.
