The Center for Global Health Equity (CGHE) is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated Program Evaluation Specialist to lead program evaluation and support financial planning across the Center. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Center’s Yamada Director, associate directors, colleagues, and partners, the Program Evaluation Specialist will build systems that measure impact, strengthen decision-making, and communicate results clearly. There is strong emphasis on co-developing and collaborating with CGHE leaders and colleagues in reporting indicators that measure the direct impact of the Center’s initiatives on the world’s most vulnerable populations.
This position is ideal for an analytical professional who can translate complex findings into accessible, actionable insights and who is equally comfortable developing evaluation frameworks, creating dashboards, engaging stakeholders, and supporting sound financial stewardship.

This position is eligible for flexible (i.e., hybrid) work arrangements requiring a minimum of three days/week in the office. Flexible work agreements are reviewed annually and are subject to change based on the business needs of the hiring department throughout the course of employment. In addition to the regular in-office workdays/hours, there will be additional times, some early morning and/or evening hours, that require working on-site for events. The Center's offices are located on north campus in NCRC Building 100.
The final salary will be based upon the selected candidate's education and experience.
Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third-party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
