Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a seasoned professional for the Gregory S. Coleman Programs Unit in Lockhart, Texas.

The role oversees program planning, development, and training, ensuring compliance with DSHS CTI requirements and coordinating with correctional staff to create a therapeutic community. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field, 5+ years in program administration or counseling, and relevant licensure (LCDC/CCJP/QCC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
• Two years full-time wage-earning experience supervising employees.
• Five years full-time wage-earning program administration or counseling experience.
• Current licensure as LCDC by Texas DSHS, or CCJP certification, or QCC credential.
• Therapeutic Community treatment experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass annual in-service training and background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, train, and implement programs; monitor compliance with policies and procedures; provide consultative services.
• Maintain alcohol and drug treatment program meeting DSHS CTI requirements.
• Establish a Therapeutic Community within the facility with correctional staff.
• Coordinate prevention components with other facility programs.
• Conduct investigations, analyses, and reporting for program improvements.
• Prepare annual program budget and manuals; assist in training material development.
• Collaborate with staff and departments to identify trends and provide technical assistance.
• Train staff, evaluate performance, and coordinate personnel changes with leadership.
