Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is hiring a responsible leader to develop and lead operations of youth education, childcare or enrichment programs hosted in the Shoreline, Edmonds and Northshore School Districts. You will develop our programs, manage a program budget and lead a team to provide the best programming and services to participants.

We are looking for a responsible leader who is excited by the prospect of developing and leading the operations of our youth education, childcare or enrichment programs hosted in the Shoreline, Edmonds, and Northshore School Districts. You will be the key player in developing our programs, managing a program budget and working with and leading a team to provide the best programing and services to participants.

Hiring Range: $80,168.40/Yr.

This is a Regular, Full-Time Role, supporting programs hosted at elementary schools across the Northshore, Edmonds, and Shoreline School Districts.

What we're looking for in an applicant

• 21 years of age or older.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant program area or equivalent education/experience. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered. Forty-five (45) or more college credits in programming related to child development preferred.
• Two years or more years of experience with staff and volunteer supervision, program development, budget management.
• Experience and knowledge with youth behavior management and child abuse prevention.

• Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to visit sites and community organizations.

Preferred Education/Experience

Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
