Job summary

ZipStaff Inc. seeks a senior Program Director to own end-to-end SAP transformation delivery for a global EPC client.

You will lead cross-functional streams spanning engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and supply chain, coordinating with client executives and delivery partners across on-site and offshore teams. Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering SAP into an EPC contractor or owner-operator's capital projects function.
• Deep SAP Project System or S/4HANA project management experience.
• Program Director accountability on at least two full-lifecycle, multi-year SAP programs.
• Demonstrated integration of engineering, procurement, and construction execution with enterprise finance, supply chain, and technology.
• Delivery experience in a multiparty model (client + advisory partner + one or more system integrators). Hands-on use of SAP Activate and formal governance with tool-instrumented dependency, RAID, and escalation management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the SAP transformation program from early scoping and planning through implementation.
• Lead cross-functional integration across engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, supply chain, and finance.
• Operate a multiparty governance model spanning the client, delivery partners, and SAP, with explicit workstream ownership, dependency tracking, and escalation paths.
• Run governance through Azure DevOps, Jira, or Microsoft Project so ownership, dependencies, escalations, and progress remain visible to client leadership.
• Facilitate design decisions that translate EPC business processes into SAP solution design — project setup and WBS, cost breakdown structures, engineering change control, subcontractor management, progress measurement, progress billing, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
• Own the integrated program plan and critical path; manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality across all workstreams.
• Act as the senior relationship owner for client executive stakeholders; run steering and operational forums and resolve escalations before they reach the sponsor.
• Build and lead the onsite and offshore delivery organization, including the program leadership layer beneath the Program Director.

Location: Houston, TX (On-site / Hybrid).

Employment Type: Contract (W2 through ZipStaff — No C2C or 1099).

About the Opportunity:

ZipStaff is seeking a Program Director to own delivery leadership on a multi-year SAP business transformation for a global Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) organization.

This is a senior, client-facing role. You will act as the primary counterpart to the client's project management and technology leadership, run multiparty governance, and lead onsite and offshore delivery across engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, supply chain, and finance workstreams.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years delivering SAP into an EPC contractor or an owner-operator's capital projects function.
• Deep SAP Project System or S/4HANA project management and engineer-to-order fulfillment experience.
• Program Director accountability on at least two full-lifecycle, multi-year SAP programs of comparable scale.
• Demonstrated integration of engineering, procurement, and construction execution with enterprise finance, supply chain, and technology.
• Delivery experience in a multiparty model (client + advisory partner + one or more system integrators).Hands-on use of SAP Activate and formal governance with tool-instrumented dependency, RAID, and escalation management.
• Established operating relationship with client stakeholders at executive level.
• Based in the United States (Texas preferred), able to work in Houston, TX, and travel to client locations as required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct experience with WBS design, cost planning, progress measurement, and percentage-of-completion in a project-driven business.
• Experience managing the impact of continuing engineering change on procurement, schedule, cost, and risk during execution.
• Prior Houston / energy / industrial EPC program leadership.
