Job summary

Unitek Learning's nursing education program is seeking an experienced administrator to oversee budgeting, faculty coordination, and clinical site liaison on-site in Boise. You will lead curriculum development, ensure accreditation compliance, and support students and faculty.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and strategic planning with on-site work required up to 5 days per week. A current RN license and graduate degree in Nursing are essential.

Qualifications

  • RN with current licensure in the state you will teach.
  • Graduate degree in Nursing.
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience in pre- or post-licensure nursing programs.
  • Active unencumbered Nursing License in the state you will be working or part of the compact licensure.
  • At least three to four years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care or equivalent, as determined by the state nursing board and accrediting bodies.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Leadership style that emphasizes collaboration, teamwork, and facilitation.
  • Ability to utilize computer-based resources.
  • Experience in supervision, planning, budget preparation and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support conflict resolution among faculty, staff, and students.
  • Monitor instruction quality and participate in program review and planning.
  • Maintain membership in professional associations.

  • Monitors quality of instruction and participates in faculty and program review, evaluation, and strategic planning
  • Maintains membership and participates in activities of professional associations
  • Advises and provide academic support to nursing students as indicated
  • Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.
  • This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
