Job summary

The U.S.–U.A.E. Business Council in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated professional to help manage events and member services in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work in the office and collaborate across teams to support senior leadership.

The role offers progression from Associate Director to Director or Senior Director, depending on experience, with responsibilities spanning event execution, member communications, and policy-focused writing.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of professional experience with business or government
  • BA required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with the Middle East and the Gulf region

Responsibilities

  • Managing events from conceptualization to execution
  • Ensuring regular engagement with member companies and successful and timely execution of member deliverables
  • Preparing meetings, writing meeting synopses, and providing related executive support
  • Writing press releases, corporate profiles, sectoral overviews, policy reports, and other informational materials
  • Compiling a daily digest of key news articles about the U.S. and U.A.E.
  • Executing special projects and miscellaneous leadership requests as needed

Job description

TheU.S.–U.A.E. Business Councilis seeking a dedicated professional to help manage events and member services at a fast-paced, growing business association. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and organizational skills and be a team player. The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is based in Washington, D.C. and the successful candidate would be expected to work in the office.We will consider candidates across the Associate Director, Director, or Senior Director levels, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Managing events from conceptualization to execution
  • Ensuring regular engagement with member companies and successful and timely execution of member deliverables
  • Preparing meetings, writing meeting synopses, and providing related executive support
  • Writing press releases, corporate profiles, sectoral overviews, policy reports, and other informational materials

Required Experience and Education

Salary and Benefits
  • 60K-80K annual salary, based on experience and qualifications
  • 5-20% yearly bonus potential, based on year-end performance
