Merakey in Carlisle, PA is seeking a full-time Program Director for the Adult Behavioral Health program. Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM; salary $60,000-$61,625 per year. The role provides leadership over consumer service planning, clinical documentation, and program operations to support independent living and community integration.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinate services with community resources to promote safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field required.
• 1-3 years of experience working in mental health, behavioral health, social services, or a related human services setting.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Prior experience supervising staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of supportive living services and ongoing assessment in nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, healthcare, and vocational/educational needs.
• Ensure service plans are developed with active participation from consumers and significant others to support independent living skills.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment documentation, and service logs in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor and support crisis intervention to promote consumer safety and positive resolutions.
• Coordinate linkage to needed services and community resources in line with treatment goals.
• Oversee program operations, including service quality, case openings/closings, and PQI initiatives.

Position Details

The Program Director oversees the delivery, quality, and quantity of supportive living services for assigned consumers. This role provides leadership and oversight of consumer service planning, clinical documentation, case management processes, and program operations while ensuring services promote independent living skills, community integration, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of supportive living services, including consumer training and ongoing assessment in areas such as nutrition, housekeeping, budgeting, hygiene, self-care, home safety, transportation, social interaction, healthcare, and vocational or educational needs.


• Ensure service plans are developed and implemented with active participation from consumers and significant others, as appropriate, to support the development of independent living skills.


• Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment documentation, correspondence, and service logs in compliance with state, county, and organizational policies and regulations.


• Monitor and support effective crisis intervention efforts to promote consumer safety, minimize harm, and facilitate positive resolutions.


• Coordinate and monitor consumer linkage to needed services and community-based resources in accordance with treatment planning goals.


• Oversee program operations, including service quality and delivery standards, case openings and closings, information updates, and participation in Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives.
