Job summary

SenseSational Learning Group, a BCBA-owned ABA practice, seeks a BCBA/BCaBA to lead development of clinical resources while delivering NDBI-based services across home, school, and community settings.

This hybrid role combines clinical caseload with systems-building work, offering 25 billable hours weekly, flexible scheduling, and in-house platforms, plus mentorship and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BCBA/BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
• Michigan state licensure required.
• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Experience building curricula, training systems, or protocols.
• Interest in mentoring BCBA/BCaBA candidates.
• Strong foundation in NDBI and natural environment teaching.
• Comfort handling both clinical caseload and development work.

Responsibilities

• Carry a 25 billable hours/week caseload across home, school, and community.
• Design and refine clinical protocols, assessment tools, and program resources.
• Build training materials and structured pathways for BCBA/BCaBA growth.
• Mentor and supervise fieldwork hours for BCBA/BCaBA candidates.
• Partner with leadership to pilot gaps in clinical resources.
• Stay current on NDBI research and translate into usable tools.

SenseSational Learning Group is a BCBA-owned, neurodiversity-affirming ABA practice built on Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) and play-based, child-led care.

We're growing a collaborative SenseSational Learning Group Hub space in Okemos, MI — a physical space for community, mentorship, and social group programming beyond 1:1 sessions. We need a BCBA who's as energized by systems as they are by session work. This is a hybrid clinical + innovation position.

What You'll Do

• Carry a caseload of 25 billable hours/week, providing NDBI-based services across home, school, and community settings (caseload expectations ease as your development work ramps up over your first ~6 months)
• Design and refine clinical protocols, assessment tools, and program resources used company-wide
• Build training materials and structured pathways for BCBA and RBT clinical growth
• Mentor and supervise individuals pursuing their BCBA/BCaBA credential, including supervised fieldwork hours
• Partner with leadership to identify gaps in clinical resources and pilot solutions
• Stay current on NDBI research and translate it into usable, practice-ready tools for the team

You're a Great Fit If You Have

• Required: BCBA or BCaBA certification in good standing with the BACB
• Required: Michigan state licensure
• Required: Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
• A track record (or strong itch) for building things — curricula, training systems, protocols — not just following them
• Genuine interest in mentoring newer clinicians and BCBA/BCaBA candidates
• Strong foundation in NDBI and natural environment teaching
• Comfort holding both clinical caseload work and behind-the-scenes development work in the same week

Compensation: $85,000–$90,000/year (BCBA). BCaBA positions available in accordance with state guidelines; compensation differs from BCBA rates.
