GDIT is seeking a highly experienced Program Cybersecurity Manager to support our NASA Business Area in driving the successful strategy, oversight, and execution of cybersecurity initiatives across our expanding NASA portfolio.

The Program Cybersecurity Manager will play a central role in developing and managing an integrated cybersecurity strategy that protects mission systems and data through 24x7 security operations, advanced AI‑enabled cyber capabilities, enterprise risk management, compliance with NASA and Federal requirements, and coordinated engineering and IT Service Management (ITSM) resources.

As the Program Cybersecurity Manager supporting this opportunity, you will provide cybersecurity leadership to internal teams and NASA customers. You will establish, lead and continuously improve the cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, architecture, engineering and operations for the program. You will also support GDIT’s account management for NASA with a focus on cyber program growth, customer relationship management, and secure service delivery. This position will ensure that solutions and execution align with modern enterprise cybersecurity best practices, federal mandates, and NASA’s evolving security landscape.

The successful candidate will be an experienced cybersecurity executive with prior NASA support experience and a proven track record of leading complex cyber programs. The candidate must demonstrate excellence in personnel leadership, customer engagement, enterprise cyber strategy, and driving measurable improvements in security posture. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, which requires the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment with multiple concurrent workstreams.

In this Program Cybersecurity Manager role, you will be responsible for executing GDIT’s cybersecurity strategy while ensuring compliance with Federal, NIST, and NASA requirements. This position requires a motivated, seasoned leader who can navigate complex challenges, drive secure solutions with precision, and foster trust‑based relationships with internal and customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

• Build and nurture trust with customers by delivering consistent, high-quality cybersecurity results and maintaining transparent communication.
• Set realistic expectations with stakeholders by clearly communicating risk, compliance posture, and mitigation strategies.
• Serve as the primary cybersecurity advisor and point of contact for internal teams and NASA customers, and provides clear, risk-based recommendations on cybersecurity priorities, investments, threats, and program impacts.

Strategic Cybersecurity Leadership

• Execute GDIT’s cybersecurity imperatives with direct alignment to NASA standards, policies, and the NASA Community.
• Demonstrate a consultative mindset by identifying emerging threats, recommending strategic improvements, and implementing actionable, measurable security enhancements.
• Strengthen customer experience by ensuring secure service delivery that aligns with NASA mission needs and enterprise security expectations.

Cyber Program Management

• Develop, maintain, and oversee cybersecurity strategy, program plans, and security architecture supporting NASA missions.
• Direct cybersecurity operations teams, engineering teams, and incident response functions to ensure effective execution of NASA and federal security requirements.
• Proactively identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats; adjust program plans and defenses as needed to maintain security compliance and resilience.

Performance, Compliance, and Quality Oversight

• Ensure all security deliverables meet required quality standards and comply with NASA, NIST, federal cybersecurity frameworks, and regulatory guidelines.
• Track, analyze, and report on cybersecurity metrics, risks, and program performance using data-driven insights.
• Oversee continuous monitoring, incident response, audit readiness, and enterprise risk management activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) total years of cyber leadership or enterprise cybersecurity program management experience.
• Extensive experience working within the NASA environment and developing cybersecurity solutions tailored to NASA mission needs.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain complex cybersecurity concepts to diverse audiences, including executives and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing customer relationships, particularly in high‑visibility federal programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring remote enterprise cybersecurity teams, including performance management and skill development.
• Experience developing cybersecurity strategies, tracking cyber metrics, supporting audits, and delivering training or demonstrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead adoption of new cyber technologies, drive operational excellence, and exceed expectations in enterprise cyber environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate government security clearances
