Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking a Program Coordinator across PC I-III to support inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization patients with supervision, meal support, and administrative duties. Candidates should meet minimal education and licensure requirements and be prepared to work across multiple ERC Pathlight locations in Maryland.

Maryland Pay Range is posted as $21.45—$29 USD per hour; compensation reflects experience and location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record (required)
• Washington teammates must hold a state credential (may be pending at time of hire) (required)
• ServSafe certification may be required depending on state and local licensing regulations (required)
• Mental Health/Psych Tech or CNA certification (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (required) for PC III

Responsibilities

• Milieu Management: maintain daily program structure and safety checks
• Group Facilitation: participate and document in EHR
• Meal Support: assist with meals and snacks
• Administrative Support: complete documentation and transport patients as needed
• Distributes mail and packages daily
• Supports transportation needs and possible food procurement as needed

Whatyou’llbe doing:

Schedule: PRN (as needed)

The Program Coordinator (PC I, PC II, PC III)is responsible forthe direct care of inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization patients by providing patient supervision and support. The PCs provide structure and boundaries for our patients. They provide bathroom and milieu support as well as contribute to the implementation of therapeuticprogrammingwhich may include care delivery and program documentation. The PCs provide mealtime support, supporting patients with their dietary needs, and supervising patients at meals and snacks.

The PC should be able to:

• Be willing and able to work at all ERC Pathlight localsites asassigned

• Be compliant with certification and regulatory requirements for each practice location

• Maintainaflexible scheduletomeet organizational staffing needs

• Be available to work weekends and holidays asrequired

• Be available to work on-call shifts based on business needs,in accordance withapplicable federal, state, and local labor laws

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Milieu Management, including (but not limitedto) the following:

• Maintains daily program structure by following program schedule

• Completes observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by physician

• Works with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan

• Conducts room searches and luggage searches

• Takes patients out on fresh airbreaksand mindful movement exposures

• Provides ongoing bathroom monitoring

• Take patient vital signs, weights, urine Specific Gravity (may vary by location andprogram)

• Group Facilitation

• Participates in group facilitation

• Compliant with documentation in EHR for group facilitation

• Supports group outings

• Meal Support, including (but not limitedto) the following:

• Participates in all meals and snacks with patients as needed per facility

• Provides meal support through coaching and skills per treatment team ateating disordertreatment locations (when not assigned to aneatingdisorder treatment location, performs other duties as assigned based on program and operational needs)

• Provides administrative support as needed aroundmealtimes

• Ensures adherence to allergy-safety system

• Administrative Support

• Completeallappropriate documentationas needed in compliance with standards (someindicatedabove) including but not limited to patient observations, meals,and events that occur during shift

• Provides patient transportation as needed for medical appointments (may vary by location and program)

• Supportsadditionaltransportation needs, including but not limited to outings, grocery shopping, or other facility needs

• May provide support foradditionalfood procurement as needed once per week

• Distributes mail and packages daily

Program Coordinator III (PC III)

• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a behavioral health or related field(required)

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record:requiredonly at locations operating company vehicles or requiring driving on behalf of the company(required)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
