Job Description What We Want We are looking for a Program Coordinator I to join our small writing center staff. The PC I will assist with our student programming, including running online graduate writing groups, presenting classroom workshops, serving as a coach for writing retreats, and assisting with training our 60 undergraduate and graduate peer consultants. Some direct tutoring will also be included. The ideal candidate will have writing or learning center experience as a tutor or administrator, as well as supervisory experience, and the flexibility to work well both independently and as part of a team. Other preferred qualifications include experience teaching or giving presentations, knowledge of content and /or learning management systems, and experience working with special student populations, including grad students, international students, ESL students, and/or First-Gen students. The successful candidate will enjoy working with language and with people. We offer a supportive and creative work environment with a strong emphasis on staff professional development.
What You Need To Know Salary: $52,000 - $55,500/annually (Based on selected hires qualifications).
Other Requirements and Factors : This position may require work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends.
