Job summary

The University of Notre Dame seeks a Program Coordinator for the McGrath Institute for Church Life to lead end-to-end conference and event management for the Notre Dame Center for Liturgy and the Office of Life and Human Dignity. You will partner with program directors to ensure smooth planning from kickoff through completion.

The ideal candidate will manage budgets, contracts, travel, and communications while supporting grant-funded initiatives and annual memberships.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or up to 5–7 years relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication reflecting accuracy, precision, and professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with planning and execution.
• Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
• Collaborative problem-solving across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of conferences, events, and cohort gatherings.
• Coordinate contracts, menus, venues, and other event needs with campus departments and partners.
• Coordinate speaker travel, participant engagement, and communications.
• Serve as on-site liaison for hosted conferences with registration and logistics.
• Manage post-event evaluations and financial reconciliation.
• Support delivery of grant-funded initiatives and Liturgy Network renewal processes.
