What You Will Be Doing:

This position serves as the statewide educator apprenticeship coordinator. This position serves as the subject matter expert, division lead, and primary point of contact for Universities, School Districts, Apprentices, and Mentor/Journey workers for the Department of Education and Early Development educator apprenticeship program. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring program compliance while supporting participants in understanding and meeting all program requirements. The educator apprenticeship program supports districts in growing skilled educators from existing local workforce to meet teacher vacancy and turnover needs across the state, and the Apprenticeship Coordinator is a key resource in supporting districts in meeting apprenticeship goals.
