WES HEALTH SYSTEM seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee the planning and execution of structured after-school activities for children and adolescents. The role collaborates with Group Leaders and serves as the primary contact for referrals and program administration.
The position requires a degree in education or human services and experience with youth, plus CPR/First Aid training and background clearances. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Additionally, the Program Coordinator serves as the main contact for referrals and to the administration where the program will be housed. They maintain connections with parents, school personnel and other outside programs who are involved in the student's lives.

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, childhood development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
OR
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with experience working with children and youth OR
An Associates Degree or the credits equivalent to one with experience working with children and youth OR
A HS Diploma and three or more years working in and overseeing a program with children and youth
Experience in sensitivity with multicultural settings.
Knowledge of and must be sensitive towards adolescent development issues and have a desire to work with students ages 5 through 18.
Successful completion of training in CPR, and First Aid.
Acceptable FBI, criminal background check and child abuse history clearances required.
