Job summary

SCO Family of Service in New York, NY is seeking a Supervisory Manager to oversee direct care staff and ensure program compliance with RHY and safety regulations.

The role reports to the Assistant Program Director and collaborates with Case Planners to assure quality of service. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training compliance, and on-call coverage. A high school diploma and managerial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Hires/supervises all Counselors, Counseling Specialists, & Relief Counselors.
  • Ensures all full-time staff meets the annual training requirements.
  • Assists with the coordination of educational/vocational/housing planning & programming for all residents.
  • Ensures new resident orientations are completed for each resident.
  • Prepares staff schedule to ensure program safety, appropriate delivery of services, & necessary coverage.
  • Works with the Assistant Program Director to complete timely staff evaluations.
  • Ensures the Behavior Management System is utilized appropriately.
  • Ensures all household, personal, & food supplies are ordered & in appropriate supply.
  • Works collaboratively with Case Planners to ensure quality of service.
  • Participates in weekly Force Field team meeting & conducts monthly staff & resident meetings.
  • Provides 24-hour on-call coverage to program staff via agency cell phone.
  • Is DYCD Connect trained & proficient.
  • Responds to all emergencies at the residence.
  • Any other assigned tasks.

Job description

  • Works collaboratively with Case Planners to ensure quality of service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma is required.
  • Two years of managerial experience preferred.
  • Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
