Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will primarilybe responsible forrider enrollment and volunteer recruitment.This position is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, building relationships, and contributing ideas while developing broad experience in nonprofit programs and operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage the rider enrollment process from start to finish
- Respond toallphone calls and inquiries from potential riders.
- Assistolder adults with completion of enrollment requirements
- Collect and organize required participant information and documentation
- Reliably enter participant information into SRN systems and platforms
- Coordinate potential rider introductory ride and/or assessment
- Provide new enrollees with program information and troubleshooting support
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with older adults and community membersaboutSRN programs, eligibility, enrollment, andrideprocedures
- Maintain awareness of SRN’s recruitment goals and elevate any concerns to the Program Managerin a timely manner
- Perform all responsibilities with attention to timeliness and detail
- Work with Outreach Manager to implement the annual volunteer recruitment content calendar(Outreach Manager will provide the creative work/materials,Program Coordinator will do the posting/emailing/etc).
- Trackprogress towardvolunteer recruitment goals,identifyopportunities for improvement, and recommend adjustments as needed
- Build relationships with other local volunteer programs and community organizations and other local volunteer programs for the purpose of increasing SRN volunteer numbers through collaboration andsharingideas and strategies.
- Take ownershipofadditionalprojects that strengthen SRN’s programs and operations.Projects may include improving internal systems and processes,maintainingand organizing SRN records, supporting the transition from paper to digital records, developing transportation referral and resource information for community outreach, and other projects based on organizational needs and the Program Coordinator’s skills and interests.
- Represent SRN at community events and other outreach opportunities to build awareness of SRN’s programs and connect with potential riders, volunteers, and community partners.
- Provideback-upsupport to Ride Coordinator, as needed.This requires confidence executing the multi-step process of ride support for older adults, including taking initial phone calls, communicating quickly and clearly, entering precise ride data,maintainingthe online platform, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Qualifications
Preferred Background:
- Experience – Minimum 3 years of related full-time work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Relevant professional, internship, volunteer, or educational experience in nonprofit work, human services, volunteer engagement, customer service, community outreach, or a related fieldwill be considered.
