University of North Carolina Asheville is seeking a Program & Communication Associate (#003912) to manage programs, communications, and office operations within the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.

The role supports unit directors, faculty, staff, and students, coordinating internal and public communications, newsletters, and social media while overseeing scheduling, travel, and events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary program associate, office manager, and communications specialist for the Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs.
  • Coordinate and create internal and public-facing communications about programming, grant opportunities and procedures, research compliance, grant-funded research and programs, newsletters, and social media.
  • Provide support to unit directors, faculty, staff, and students; manage calendars, travel, and meetings; assist with staff searches logistics.
  • Maintain website content and manage communications to campus and the public via email, newsletters, and social media.
