Job summary

Northeast Arc is recruiting a Program Case Manager/Driver to supervise participants in our day and work supports program and to safely transport them to and from sites and community locations. The role blends hands‑on care with reliable transportation, requiring a caring presence and strong responsibility.

You will work with individuals with disabilities, coordinating activities, maintaining records, and supporting participants in achieving personal goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; effective communicator in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and individualized support to participants in community‑based day and work supports program.
• Complete daily transportation runs for assigned participants in compliance with regulations.
• Facilitate skill development activities tailored to participants' goals.
• Support participants at volunteer sites, work sites, and community outings.
• Maintain accurate program records and daily documentation.
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and staff.
• Operate program vehicles safely and per regulations.
• Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Job Summary

As a Program Case Manager/Driver on the Journeys team, you will play a meaningful, hands‑on role in making that mission a reality each day. In this position, you will provide direct supervision and skill‑building support to participants in Northeast Arc's community‑based day and work supports program, while also taking responsibility for safely transporting participants to and from program sites and community locations. This is a role for someone who brings both a caring presence and a reliable sense of responsibility to their work, someone who understands that the journey matters just as much as the destination.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and individualized support to participants in Northeast Arc's community‑based day and work supports program
• Complete daily transportation runs for assigned participants in compliance with HST/MART/DDS regulations
• Facilitate skill development activities and meaningful opportunities tailored to participants' individual goals
• Support participants at volunteer sites, work sites, and community outings
• Maintain accurate program records and daily documentation
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with participants, their families, and program staff
• Operate program vehicles safely and in accordance with Northeast Arc and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, or other related experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; effective communicator in both person and in writing
• Team player who is flexible and able to adapt to a changing schedule
• Ability to communicate in English and/or ASL via direct communication
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and associated applications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to stand and/or walk up to one hour uninterrupted
• Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment.
