Job summary
Anova Education is seeking a dedicated Support Staff/Program Assistant to provide one-to-one paraprofessional support in a autism classroom at the PAEC Center School in Maywood, Illinois. The position requires a Paraprofessional Educator License or Substitute Teaching License, at least 18 years old, and the ability to lift and transfer students as needed.
This is a full-time role with medical and leave benefits attached.
Qualifications
- Paraprofessional Educator License or Substitute Teaching License required.
- Must be able to lift and transfer students if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age (to work in grades PreK to 8th).
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one paraprofessional support in the autism classroom.
- Assist students with daily activities and behavior support as directed by teachers.
