Under direct supervision, this position supports the assigned department and programs. Duties include performing routine clerical functions, answering the phone, greeting students, faculty, staff, and the public, assisting with walk-in participants, providing support for required documentation requirements, and supporting tours and recruiting events. The position also supports using a database and/or software for student application, selection, admission, registration, and clinical placement in a Division of IRSC.
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as heavy work involving lifting no more than 100 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. If someone can do heavy work, we determine that he or she can also do medium, light, and sedentary work.
Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. To perform this job successfully, the employee must possess the abilities or aptitudes to perform each duty proficiently. Additionally, all employees of the College are expected to maintain professional standards of communication, able to learn and apply new technology, and abide by all policies and procedures.
