Requirements

Georgetown University’s Center for Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI) aims to improve population health and wellbeing while safeguarding against health threats by advancing evidence-based, human-centered design for health equity. To support this mission, CGHPI seeks a Program Assistant to assist with meeting support, event planning, and logistics for the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. - Technical Assistance Provider (EHE-TAP) project.

Responsibilities

The Program Assistant will play a key role in executing events, meetings, and logistics for the EHE-TAP project. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all aspects of project meetings, including regional workshops, learning collaboratives, and technical assistance workshops.
  • Coordinating logistics, travel, schedules, and providing administrative support to internal and external partners.
  • Utilizing organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Work Interactions

The Program Assistant reports directly to the EHE-TAP Program Director and collaborates across departments, supporting operations and communicating with jurisdictions, university units, and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, business administration, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management and administrative skills
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to relate to diverse groups
  • Willingness to travel domestically
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in budget management
  • Familiarity with virtual event platforms
Work Mode

This position is designated as Hybrid. Work mode may be reviewed and adjusted based on university needs. Details about Georgetown’s work mode policies are available at https://hr.georgetown.edu/mode-of-work-designation.

Pay Range

The projected salary range is $47,586.00 - $87,558.13, determined by qualifications, experience, and university needs.
