Job summary

Naval Education and Training Command seeks a CeTARS Manager to oversee all courses taught by NLEC detachments, serving about 50,000 graduates each year. You will manage access to Course Data Processing owners and enroll/graduate students across multiple programs.

Additionally, you will design, implement, and maintain reports, coordinate instructor assignments for thousands of topics, and create schedules for 14 high-profile annual convenings, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of metrics

Job description

  • You will serves as the Corporate enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS) Manager for all courses taught by Naval Leadership and Ethics Center (NLEC) detachments , serving approximately 50,000 graduates annually.
  • You will manage database permissions, granting authorized access to detachment Course Data Processing (CDP) owners to enroll and graduate students in their respective courses.
  • You will create and manage the combined training schedules for 14-high profile annual convenings (Major Commands, Prospective Commanding Officer, Spouse courses etc.).
  • You will interface closely with course leads to coordinate, schedule, and assign instructors for over 2,700 individual topics taught annually.
  • You will independently design, build, and maintain custom database reports to provide leadership with real-time operational training metrics.
Duties

Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Having in-depth knowledge of the Corporate Enterprise Training Activity and Resource System (CeTARS), or similar systems, to generate, research, maintain, and distribute related training materials, data, and information for an expansive multi-site training programs; 2) Understanding of the principles of training and education to independently manage training data systems; 3) Performing a wide range of data management tasks, including downloading, updating, sorting, and analyzing data to create reports; and 4) Having strong oral and written communication skills to explain regulations, prepare instructions, and create reports.
