Job summary

Tekla Research, Inc. in Lexington Park, MD seeks a Program Analyst to support the development of program acquisition documentation, assess procedures for compliance, and prepare briefs and reports.

The role requires US citizenship and a Secret clearance, with a BA/BS degree or approved substitutions, and 3–10 years of related experience in defense acquisition. Salary ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 per year, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, retirement with 401K

Responsibilities

• Supports development of program acquisition documentation such as AP, ASR, PID, SOW, funding documents, CDRLs, and APBA.
• Assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
• Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, papers, reports, meetings, and review boards.
• Tracks program/project status and schedules.

Program Analyst

• Lexington Park, MD Must be U.S. Citizen Clearance Required: Secret Education Required: BA/BS degree Allowable substitution: Associate's Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Experience Required: 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Professional experience in Defense acquisition is required, two (2) years of which are required to have been in support of Defense Acquisition Category programs. Position Description:
• Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), PID, SOW, funding documents, CDRLs, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)
• Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
• Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards
