Job summary

ATF is seeking a Program Analyst (GS-11) in Austin, TX. The role involves evaluating program operations, drafting findings, and supporting projects within the Office of Field Operations, Polygraph Branch, Special Operations Division.

You will plan and manage projects, analyze regulations and policy, and prepare reports and briefings for internal stakeholders. Mobility agreements and federal ethics compliance are required.

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience at the GS-9 level.
• Ability to analyze regulations for operational impact.
• Experience drafting program guidance and memoranda.
• Experience preparing written reports and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates programmatic or business operations to aid managers and other key stakeholders in making informed decisions on program, planning, and policy issues.
• Evaluates existing internal processes and procedures, drafting proposed findings and recommendations to administrative systems, legislation, and regulations.
• Provides operational, technical, and administrative support on critical projects, programs, and policies within the organization.
• Plans and manages special and recurring projects on well-defined subject matter areas to include the formulation of the project methodology, identifying resources required to support the operational and analytical techniques for accomplishment of program objectives.
