Job summary

Aptive seeks a mid-level analyst to evaluate the effectiveness of informatics programs and business processes in a federal context. The role requires analyzing data, preparing metrics, and delivering insights to improve operations and readiness across VA-related initiatives.

The candidate will collect and report on weekly and monthly metrics, analyze trends, and support readiness and gap analyses within the Informatics Surge Readiness Index, leveraging Power BI and ServiceNow reporting tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; 5+ years of experience in program analysis, preferably with clinical informatics or VA healthcare; strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.

Job description

Aptive provides mid-level analytical support focused on measuring the effectiveness of informatics programs, business processes, and surge-support activities. This role must have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations.
  • Effectively manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes.
  • Collect, analyze, and report metrics for Weekly Meeting and Report (PWS 4.2.B) and Monthly Report (PWS 4.2.D)
  • Analyze issue trends, ticket velocity, and training completion data
  • Assist with readiness assessments and gap analyses under the IAP-to-EIWMP incorporation effort
  • Prepare data packages that feed the Informatics Surge Readiness Index
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program analysis, preferably with clinical informatics or VA healthcare experience
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with VA clinical informatics programs or EIWMP
  • Proficiency with Power BI, ServiceNow reporting, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with LPM/Agile metrics and PI reporting
