You will support Family and Youth Peer Support Services (FYPS) across multiple sites, ensuring accurate reporting, reliable data collection, and consistent performance measurement. Working closely with program leaders, quality improvement teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders, you will help identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. You will also develop reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that inform strategic and operational decisions. This remote opportunity offers meaningful collaboration, technical leadership responsibilities, and the chance to contribute to better outcomes for children, families, and communities. Candidates must be based in New York City and available for quarterly in-person meetings.

Accountabilities
  • - Data Analysis and Program Performance: Develop and implement data analysis plans to measure program performance, service utilization, outcomes, and key performance indicators across Family and Youth Peer Support Services programs.
  • - Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare and present recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for program leadership, funders, contractors, subcontractors, and external partners. Participate in regular meetings with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to communicate performance results and identify improvement opportunities.
  • - Data Quality and Validation: Extract, clean, validate, reconcile, aggregate, and analyze complex datasets from multiple sources to maintain data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Monitor daily Maven case reporting for the Bronx program and follow up with staff to resolve discrepancies and missing information.
  • - Cross-Site Coordination: Standardize data collection methods, database management practices, quality assurance procedures, and reporting workflows across program sites. Coordinate the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • - Process Improvement: Evaluate existing data collection and reporting systems, identify inefficiencies, and recommend evidence-based improvements that strengthen analytical processes and support continuous program development.
  • - Project Leadership: Lead data-related initiatives from planning through implementation, collaborating with program leadership to establish analytical methodologies and deliver insights aligned with operational and strategic objectives.
  • - Technical Guidance and Training: Provide technical support and training to program staff and fellow analysts, review analytical work products, and promote best practices in data management, reporting, and analysis.
  • - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with program leadership, Quality Improvement teams, shared services departments, and external stakeholders to improve reporting systems, support performance measurement, and ensure findings are communicated clearly and effectively.
Requirements
  • - Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Health, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • - Professional Experience: At least four years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, program evaluation, or a related analytical role.
  • - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using analytical tools such as SQL, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or comparable platforms.
  • - Data Analysis and Interpretation: Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets, identify patterns and trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that support informed decision-making.
  • - Data Management: Experience working with sensitive information and supporting reporting, performance measurement, data validation, or program evaluation activities.
  • - Quality Assurance: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate, complete, and reliable data while meeting reporting standards and deadlines.
  • - Process Improvement: Ability to evaluate existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement practical solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • - Project Coordination: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate projects, and support consistent data management practices across teams.
  • - Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings and technical concepts to audiences with different levels of data expertise.
  • - Collaboration and Leadership: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, program teams, external partners, and stakeholders while providing technical guidance and supporting shared objectives.
  • - Location and Availability: Must reside in New York City and be available to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with participation in quarterly in-person meetings.
