Job summary

A growing government service provider in New Orleans seeks a Program Analyst to support the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing. Responsibilities include collecting aviation lessons learned, supporting joint operations, and providing analytical support to deployed forces. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant bachelor's degree, prior military experience, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance.
  • Experience serving at the Marine Aircraft Group level or above is preferred.
  • Prior military service as Naval Aviator or as a Sr enlisted Marine.

  • Support joint and combined operations with allied forces.
  • Provide analytical support for forward-based forces operations.

Job description

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Program Analyst to support 4th Marine Aircraft Wing in New Orleans, LA. The analyst will collect aviation and sustainment lessons in OCONUS environments and support joint and combined operations.

Responsibilities
  • Collect aviation lessons learned from forward‑deployed operations
  • Support joint and combined operations with allied and partner forces
  • Ensure comprehensive lessons learned coverage for deployed forces
  • Provide analytical support for forward‑based forces operations
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Required Degree/Education/Certification
  • Graduate of Marine Corps Command & Staff College or Marine Corps Senior Enlisted Professional Military Education course (preferred)
  • Valid U.S. passport and ability to obtain necessary status of forces agreements
  • Prior military service as Naval Aviator or as a Sr enlisted Marine serving within an Air Wing
  • Experience serving at the Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) level or above is preferred
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Degree may be substituted for experience.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience with OCONUS operations, forward‑deployed forces, and/or joint and combined operations.
  • Ability to communicate and interface with Military leaders and commanders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, build rapport with end users, customers, and unit leaders in order to develop effective working relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced understanding of military tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP)
  • Strong analytical skills are a must
  • Ability to adapt to changing working environments and operational tempos
  • Must be able to work on‑site in New Orleans, Louisiana.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work in multinational environments
  • Ability to work independently in a forward‑deployed environment
Required Citizenship and Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
