The Architectural Studies Program, within the History of Art and Architecture Department at Tufts University, invites applications for a full-time, non tenure-track Professor of the Practice, with an appointment effective Fall 2027.

The selected candidate is expected to offer undergraduate-level instruction with a primary focus on architectural design and a secondary focus on architectural history and theory to help fulfill our mission of enabling students to think critically and historically

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated portfolio of professional and/or research-oriented work.
• Proven experience teaching design studios and architecture history courses.
• Ability to integrate design, history, and theory in teaching and practice.

Aufgaben

• Teach design studios and gateway architecture history survey course.
• Possibly teach seminars or lectures on topics based on background.
• Participate in department meetings and plan events; advise students.
