Qualifications

• Candidates must demonstrate a track record of innovative mechanistic research.
• Experience with epigenomics, single-cell technologies, or spatial genomics preferred.
• Ability to teach and mentor across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead an independent research program focused on spatial and functional genomics, supported by extramural funding.
• Develop novel technologies and/or apply advanced spatial analysis to study tissue microenvironments in health and disease.
• Engage in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate teaching and mentoring activities within the department.
• Contribute to collaborative, multidisciplinary research across the School of Medicine and the broader UCSD community.
