Job summary

Arizona State University is inviting applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in Quantum Computing and Information Sciences within the Fulton Schools of Engineering and the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI). We welcome candidates who can advance research and education in quantum algorithms, architectures, and related areas.

The appointed rank may be Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, with a start date in August 2027.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field by time of appointment.
• Evidence of excellence in research appropriate to rank.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching appropriate to rank.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to curriculum development.
• Deliver instruction in-person and/or online.
• Supervise honors, master’s, and doctoral students.
• Conduct research suitable for publication in top-tier journals and conferences.
• Develop grant proposals for external funding as PI or co-PI.
• Participate in professional and internal service.
