Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of microbial ecology including functioning under soil conditions.
- Experience with microbiome assembly and microbe–plant interactions.
- Internationally recognized in the field of microbial interactions.
- Ability to design and implement new methodologies in microbial ecology.
- Drive research in model systems, soil health, and climate-related topics.
- Strong leadership and teaching portfolio with evidence of supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lead own research program and develop the field of microbial interactions.
- Teach at BSc and MSc levels in Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences.
- Supervise and mentor students and staff; participate in examinations.
- Apply for external research funding and manage grant projects.
- Collaborate across departments and international partners.
