Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington (IUB) invites applications for multiple, tenured/tenure-track positions at all ranks in the Department of Chemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences. Successful candidates are expected to develop visible, externally funded research programs addressing measurement science across chemistry, biology, and related fields.

Appointments would begin August 1, 2027, with applications received by October 16, 2026, for full consideration; positions will remain open

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry (or related field) required.
• Postdoctoral experience preferred.
• Commitment to excellence in scholarship and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a record of scholarly accomplishment and external funding leadership.
• Teach and mentor undergraduate and/or graduate students.
• Engage in service within the department, school, and university and collaborate with the profession.
