The Department of Farm Animals and Veterinary Public Health of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna is looking for a new professor in the field of “One Health Systems Science”

Tasks of the position include the development of an independent research programne and aquiration of the required funding, along with representation of the University, collaboration with stakeholders and teaching of the subject of “One Health” in the diploma programme Veterinary Medicine and in postgraduate training.

A completed Doctorate (or comparable qualification) in a field related to veterinary medicine, agricultural or natural science is required, along with an outstanding track record of research publications, teaching experience and proof of having successfully obtained funding from (inter-) national providers is required for the job. Furthermore, the university is looking for applicants with excellent communication and leadership skills.
