Proven track record of high-quality research publications, funded projects, patents, consultancy, and academic leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and enhancement of academic programs in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.
Design, review, and continuously improve curriculum aligned with industry and emerging technology trends.
Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
Foster an outcome-based education framework and ensure academic excellence.
Establish a strong research culture within the department.
Publish research articles in SCI/Scopus indexed journals and top-tier conferences.
Secure sponsored research grants from government and industry agencies.
Lead patent filing, technology transfer, product development, and innovation initiatives.
Mentor faculty members and research scholars in research activities.
Supervise and guide Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. research projects.
Develop research laboratories, centers of excellence, and interdisciplinary groups.
Promote student participation in hackathons, competitions, conferences, and innovation programs.
Build strategic partnerships with industries, startups, research organizations, and technology companies.
Facilitate internships, consultancy projects, industry certifications, and placement opportunities.
Organize guest lectures, workshops, faculty development programs, and industry interaction sessions.
Contribute to departmental planning, budgeting, policy formulation, and quality assurance initiatives.
Lead accreditation and ranking activities including NBA, NAAC, NIRF, QS, and other quality frameworks.
Participate in university committees, governance activities, and strategic institutional initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior faculty members in teaching, research, publications, and career development.
Promote collaborative teaching and interdisciplinary learning practices.
Support admissions, branding, outreach, international collaborations, and placement activities.
Represent the university at national and international academic forums.
Contribute to the university's vision of academic excellence, innovation, and global engagement.
