Alignerr is seeking a professional German-speaking voice actor to shape AI-driven speech through high-quality recordings and meticulous evaluation. The role requires native-level German and a quiet, well-equipped home studio.

This is a fully remote, hourly contract. You will record, assess, and provide feedback on AI-generated voices, working independently on your own schedule.

Professional Voice Actor – German (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding vocal presence, native-level German fluency, and access to quality recording equipment.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Record clear, professional-grade German voice performances using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated German speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
• Deliver detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review and suggest script adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — entirely on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
• Native or near-native fluency in German with precise command of pronunciation and register
• Owner of a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, acoustically controlled recording space
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
• Naturally detail-oriented when assessing tone, clarity, pacing, and emotional nuance
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in commercial, character, or broadcast voice-over work
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
• Awareness of regional German dialect variations — Standard German, Austrian, Swiss, or otherwise
• Background in linguistics, theatre, or performance arts
