Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Grayslake, IL is seeking a Professional Security Officer for a full-time role. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and patrol client sites to deter threats and ensure safety.

You will report issues and work with a team to achieve daily site goals. Requirements include being at least 18, holding a valid driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with clear driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Basic computer/technology skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals calmly.
• Excellent attention to detail and vigilance during shifts.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid judgement and appropriate escalation.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug test and background check).

Professional Security Officer - Full Time - Grayslake, IL

Wage: $21.00-$25.00/HR

We are seeking customer service driven individuals for security positions. We have a dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff which will foster you through your growth and advancement in the company.

What You Can Expect

• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements
