Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit seeks a Professional Security Officer in Battle Creek, MI. This position offers a 1st shift schedule (Sat-Mon, 8a-4p) for 32 hours per week with a pay rate of $16.78 per hour.

You will observe, report, and respond to security events while delivering excellent customer service and protection to client sites. We provide weekly pay, growth opportunities, health/dental/vision benefits, and an employee referral program.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Customer service experience is required or preferred.
• Previous security experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to protect people and property.
• Provide customer service and assist visitors and employees as needed.
• Follow security procedures and comply with licensing and background checks.

Security Officer/Guard:

• Security Positions are Full and Part Time
• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
