Job summary

Baku in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Restaurant Server to provide attentive service, take guest orders, and relay them to the kitchen. You will greet guests warmly, explain specials, and ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery of meals and drinks.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean dining area, assisting with setup, and upholding liquor policies while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials/promotions for guest awareness.
• Take the order and input the order into the POS to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order.
• Retrieve order from kitchen, confirm its accuracy and deliver it to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
