You will manage assignments in your county, work independently, and communicate professionally to ensure timely service, accurate documentation, and high-quality client service.

The role offers flexible hours, direct weekly deposits, and performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Prior process serving experience required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Complete service attempts in compliance with state laws and company policies.
• Navigate coverage areas using GPS and online tools.
• Review and follow detailed assignment instructions from the office.
• Communicate professionally with subjects and document findings accurately.
• Maintain detailed notes on all attempts and outcomes.
• Upload attempts, notes, and completed serves via the mobile app.
• Meet assignment deadlines and maintain regular office communication.
• Obtain notarization on affidavits for out-of-state assignments when required.

Michigan Legal Process is currently seeking experienced and professional Process Servers throughout Michigan. We are looking for dependable independent contractors who can efficiently manage assignments, communicate professionally, and consistently meet deadlines.

This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Requirements

• Prior process serving experience required
• Ability to attempt service at varying times of day and on varying days of the week
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Smartphone with reliable internet access
• Modern laser printer and scanner
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional demeanor and communication skills
• Ability to travel throughout the county in which you reside
• Ability to adapt and make sound judgment calls in the field
• Strong attention to detail and documentation quality

Preference will be given to applicants already familiar with ServeManager.
